Focus… series

The « Focus … » series is a visual representation of a choice. The choice to focus on oneself or one's environment. To introspect or to observe. Ego or self-denial. The eye cannot choose both; it must focus on one or the other. The « Focus… » series is produced in translucent stained-glass paint. The paper support gives way to the emblem of reflection: the mirror. My desire to create living art takes on its full meaning thanks to this reflection. The work lives to the rhythm of its space, what is offered to it, while blurring the viewer's visibility and forcing him to make the choice of looking at the work, or looking at himself.
